PRESS RELEASES

A Taste of the Party, in conjunction with the Skyway Restaurant and South Shore Beach Resort, will present its annual "A Taste of the Party Put-in-Bay 2002 Expo" in June. A date will be announced by December 31, 2001.

This festival of food and decor will be held on the waterfront of South Shore Beach Resort and will feature more than 18 tables of differing themes and party ideas. Each table will also feature two or more types of food from the island catering company's extensive menus.

"We are always looking for opportunities to showcase our abilities and our ideas for different themes and events," said caterer Susan Thwaite. "We have catered casual and formal events and receptions on the smallest to largest scale. We believe we have great ideas and we want to share them."

Thwaite, who has catered since 1993, is a member of the National Association of Catering Executives and the National Caterers Organization.

A Taste of the Party, formerly known as The Butler Did It, has become a household name catering cocktail parties, special theme events and many, many island weddings.

This event will be held under a large tent and theme ideas will include the Caribbean, African Safari, Formal Wedding, Nautical, Business Brunch, Gala Crystal and several new surprises.

Cost of the event will be announced when a date is finalized. Ticket price will include food and consultation. A cash bar will be available. Advance tickets will be available at The Skyway or by calling 419-285-4321.
